Carl has lived in West Hunsbury for over 25 years, previously Carl has been a Northampton Borough Councillor and is currently the Chair of Abbeyfield Academy on Mereway.

Now retired, Carl spent his career in financial services, latterly as Head of the Business Transformation Office for Mercedes-Benz Financial Service, working in the UK and abroad. Carl is married with two step-daughters and a son, with four grandchildren.

Carl is passionate about the keeping the area of West Hunsbury a good place to live for everyone

Cllr Carl Squires was elected as Parish Council Chairman in January 2022 and re-elected at the May 2023 Annual Meeting.

Cllr Squires is also a member of the Communications Working Party.
