Rotary Club Purple4Polio Campaign

Rotary Club of Northampton West , assisted by volunteers from the Friends of Hunsbury parks will be planting 2000 crocus corms on Saturday 9th November between 10and 11am at the entrance to the Hunsbury Hill carpark in the grass bank beneath the treesThis is part of the national Rotary Purple4Polio campaign to publicise the work being carried out to eradicate polio world wide. (the attached leaflet gives more details). In West Hunsbury last year purple crocus corms were planted outside St Benedict's church and the year previously on Hunsbury Hill Rd adjacent to the ironstone railway.
